Supporting your Nordimet® patients during the
COVID-19 outbreak

There is considerable guidance available to help healthcare professionals
provide appropriate advice and support for their patients during this time.

EULAR guidance for healthcare professionals1

  • Patients with no symptoms of COVID-19 infection should be advised not to stop or reduce their
medication, unless advised by their doctor.

  • Patients who have a routine rheumatology appointment coming up should check with their
rheumatology care team to determine if a face-to-face appointment is essential, or if it can be safely
    postponed or carried out remotely.

  • Patients who experience symptoms of COVID-19 infection should stay at home and contact their
rheumatology care team for guidance on any adjustments to their RA treatment.

  • Check patients are up to date with vaccinations, in line with the national immunisation schedule.2
